Well..well..WOW! The 42nd president of the United States, Bill Clinton and the Clinton Foundation, are committed to telling many what we have been trying to tell the world for almost two centuries. In a recent article released by AARP, Bill Clinton encourages the citizens of the United States of America to live healthier lifestyles: Go Cold Turkey, Literally, and GO VEGAN!
After a major life threatening scare in 2004, undergoing quadruple-bypass surgery, Bill Clinton made a total lifestyle change which primarily consisted of him adopting a 100% plant based diet.
“You have to make a conscious decision to change for your own well-being, that of your family and your country,” Clinton said.
Then Clinton gleefully boasted to AARP “I’ve stopped eating meat, cheese, milk, even fish. No dairy at all.” He smiled and yanked on his waistband. “I’ve lost more than 20 pounds so far, aiming for about 30 before Chelsea’s wedding. And I have so much more energy now! I feel great.”
No surprise here Mr. President. Because, whether he knows it or not, Clinton is following God’s original dietary plan for mankind. In Genesis 1:26 we are told, “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” Then when man fell into the pit of sin, in Genesis 3:18 God also incorporated “the herb of the field” into mans meal plan. Hence, fruits, nuts, grains, and vegetables, since Eden, have always been God’s ideal source of nutrients for mankind. Live food for Live people! Thank God that He “satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” ( Psalm 103:5).
